Switch Tester Layer 2 Bridging functional test suite contain test cases that verify the devices capability for simultaneous connection and state, port role changes with bridges connected over 24 ports. The test topologies include aggregated ports and ports authorized for accessibility. Scalability support in a Device for handling tagged and untagged data for maximum number of VLANs, ability to learn maximum destinations in the filtering table are verified.

ATTEST Conformance test suites for Layer 2 bridging protocols are also available separately.
